The first file contains a chronological table for the events in Lev. and Num., and argues that in Lev., בְּהַר סִינָי bəhar Sînāy should be translated “at Mount Sinai”, not “on Mount Sinai”.
The second file is a suggestion for a book introduction to Leviticus, with short explanations on major themes of the book, and an outline.
The next file is about Leviticus 1–7, where some themes are taken up more than once and the question arises how the different parts relate to each other. Section headings (titles) can help or hinder the reader’s orientation about the outline of these chapters.
Some chapters in Leviticus have a fairly complex structure. The next file contains tables that show how some verses relate to each other. This should help with ensuring coherence in translation.
The other papers deal with some key phrases that occur a lot in Leviticus, and also in the rest of the Pentateuch:
One is about the meaning of the two related phrases לִפְנֵי יְהוָה "before the LORD" and פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד "at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting".
Another addresses the meaning and translation of the phrase בְּמָקוֹם קָדֹשׁ bəmāqôm qādōš "in a holy place", and the similar one בִּמְקוֹם הַקֹּדֶשׁ bimqôm haqqōdeš.
The third one explains where חֹק ḥōq and חֻקָּה ḥuqqâ mean ‘share’, not ‘statute’.
The last but one addresses two complicated verses in the chapter about unlawful sexual relations.
The very last one explains a recurring textual problem (בְּעַמֶּיךָ in 19:16 and similar cases).
